RES Celebrates Executive Director’s Birthday with Outreach to Abuja IDP Camp
On March 24th, 2025, in a heartwarming celebration of the Executive Director’s birthday, staff members of Research Enterprise Systems (RES) carried out a humanitarian outreach at Abuja’s largest Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp.
The initiative was a meaningful expression of RES’s commitment to going beyond research and policy influence — reaching directly into communities in need. Team members distributed relief materials and essential supplies, while also spending quality time with camp residents through shared stories, conversations, and connection.
The outreach reflected RES’s values of empathy, equity, and responsibility by:
Extending support to vulnerable populations
Promoting direct community impact alongside policy work
Building bonds between the RES team and displaced individuals
By marking the occasion with service, RES demonstrated that leadership includes compassion and that research-driven organizations can also play hands-on roles in social change.
