RES Participates in APHRC Convening on Youth Employment and Research Value Chain

From August 26th–28th, 2024, in Nairobi, Kenya, the Executive Director, Professor Aremu Fatai Ayinde, and Programs Manager, Olaogun Michael Sunkanmi, represented Research Enterprise Systems (RES) at a convening organized by the African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC).

The convening brought together representatives from reputable research institutions across Africa as part of efforts to support the Mastercard Foundation’s vision of creating 30 million jobs in Africa by 2030.

Discussions focused on exploring the research value chain to empower young people across Africa, aiming to create dignified and fulfilling jobs through evidence-driven strategies and collaborative action. In the coming months, RES and other partners will work toward implementing actionable frameworks to advance youth employment on the continent.

This participation aligns with RES’s commitment to leveraging research for sustainable development and inclusive economic growth in Africa.
