Professor Fatai Aremu
Executive Director
Fatai Ayinde Aremu is Professor of Political Science, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He obtained B.Sc. Political Science in University of Jos, M.Sc. Political Science in Usmanu Dan Fodio University, Sokoto and PhD Asia Pacific Studies at the Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University in Japan where he was awarded certificate of excellence for outstanding quality of research. He was the Head of Socio-Political Unit at the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies, National Assembly, Abuja. He completed his tenure as a Directing Staff at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Nigeria’s apex policy think tank, in 2022 after which he became the Director of Knowledge Management and Innovation at the development Research and Projects Center (dRPC), Abuja, Nigeria.
He is the Executive Director, Research Enterprise Systems (RES), an independent and non-partisan research, strategy and capacity development outfit based in Abuja.
Mustapha Kolawole
Director of Finance and Administration
Mustapha Kolawole is a Chartered Accountant, Master degree holder in Business Administration (Major in Treasury Management) from Bayero University Kano, Bsc. Accounting from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria with more than 16-year experience in financial management, donor fund/grant management, budgeting, forecasting, payroll administration, auditing, compliance and operations. He has extensive experience in developmental project financing and application of financial regulations. He was a consultant for financial and management accounting support with WaterAid Nigeria. He was the Grant Manager at a Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation funded Partnership for Advocacy in Child and Family Health at Scale (PACFaH@Scale) a project anchored by Development Research and Project Centre (dRPC) Abuja- Nigeria. He heads the Finance and Administration team in RES.
Michael Olaogun
Programs Manager
Michael Sunkanmi Olaogun is a Researcher with about a decade of experience in social development with reputable NGOs in Nigeria. His area of focus are: Democracy and Governance, Policy Reforms, Youth Engagement, Human Rights, Peace and Security. He holds a first degree in Mathematics Education (2014) and a Master’s in Public Administration (2018) both from the University of Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. He is a Ph.D. candidate at the Institute of Governance and Development Studies, Federal University Lokoja, Nigeria.
Oluwayomi Owoseye
Senior Program officer/Research Fellow
Owoseye Oluwayomi is the Senior Program Officer and a Research Fellow at Research Enterprise Systems. Since joining the organization in November 2023, he has been instrumental in leading key initiatives, including overseeing programmatic research, conceptualizing strategies, and providing technical support across various projects.
Maymunah Adeyemo
Program/GEDSI Officer
Maymunah is a self-motivated public health professional with strong background in research and community engagement activities. She had her first degree at the University of Ilorin and holds a Master of Public Health degree in Reproductive and Family Health. She has consistent work experience in different public health programs with expertise in program design, implementation and monitoring.
She is also a passionate gender equality and equity advocate and passionate about all matters relating to women and young people. She has supported the planning and organization of several events and programs especially for women in rural communities. Maymunah is a good team player committed to promoting innovative solutions that enhance gender equality, improve public health outcomes, and foster sustainable practices across communities.
