RES Participates in CiTech Summit 2025 to Strengthen Youth Inclusion in Policy Design
Research Enterprise Systems (RES) participated in the CiTech Summit 2025, where Michael Sunkanmi Olaogun and Sulaiman Aremu engaged in discussions on how government institutions can meaningfully embed youth perspectives into policy design and implementation.
The sessions highlighted the importance of ensuring that youth representation is substantive and not symbolic. RES contributed evidence-informed insights on practical ways to integrate young people into governance processes, from structured consultation mechanisms to youth-led monitoring and collaborative policy development.
Youth empowerment remains central to our institutional identity. With over 70% of our workforce made up of young professionals, RES not only advocates for youth inclusion externally but actively demonstrates it within our internal leadership and operational structures.
As Nigeria moves toward the 2027 general elections, RES remains committed to partnering with government agencies, development institutions, and civil society organizations to strengthen youth participation in democratic processes. We will continue to amplify youth voices, promote inclusive and evidence-driven policy design, and support solutions that advance Nigeria’s democratic future.
